Dr. Lisotto is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist.

She completed medical school at Universidad Austral-Facultad de Ciencias Biomédicas in Argentina, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.                                  

Following medical school, she completed four years of general psychiatry residency at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by two years of child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital where she also served as chief resident. She then completed a psychoanalytic fellowship (child track) at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. She has worked as an attending physician at McLean Hospital, Cambridge Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital all Harvard Medical School affiliated hospitals, where she also taught and supervised medical students, residents and fellows.         

Dr. Lisotto has extensive clinical experience treating psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She specializes in psychotherapy with adjunctive medication management, whenever indicated. Dr. Lisotto’s areas of expertise include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD, emotional dysregulation leading to interpersonal difficulties, and trauma related disorders.

Dr. Lisotto strongly believes that the best psychiatric care is centered on the whole person, not just on a diagnosis or specific medication. Her approach is empathic, warm, collaborative, and nonjudgemental. She does not believe that everyone needs a medication, but in certain cases, medications can be useful in treating particular psychiatric symptoms. Dr. Lisotto will work with you in order to find the best treatment modality that meets your goals and needs.
